  66. Not all the ICOM radios will work with the 12v battery packs either!  Don't
  67. try it with a IC-2AT or IC-4AT, for instance.  ICOM originally did not make
  68. a 12v pack, but added it after introducing the IC-02.  The earlier radios
  69. don't have a charging/external power jack either, although ICOM did make a
  70. 12v to 9.6v converter which fits on the bottom of the radio like a battery.

  121. rec.radio.amateur.misc.  Current elements are usually also available

  151. Lots of luck trying to work with MSYS stations.  MSYS's author has been
  152. generally unresponsive about fixing the IP implementation in his software,
  153. and it has been known for a long time to have some serious deficiencies when
  154. it comes to issues like fragmenting big IP packets, etc.

  178. I used to have this problem with a monitor that was about 6-feet from
  179. the rig.  I attached some wire to a piece of aluminum foil, and wrapped
  180. the connector at the back of the monitor.  I then cut the wire in
  181. increments until the noise was diminished.  Still had RFI, but changed
  182. the frequency of it.

  184. At one time, I had a computer that would totally wipe out a TV set that
  185. was two rooms away.  THAT is RFI.
